Angelo Russo, a 14 year resident of the City of Fairview Park, grew up in Westlake.

Angelo graduated from St. Ignatius High School in 1991 and Cleveland State University in 1999, all while assisting his family with their real estate business. He continued on to Law School at Cleveland Marshall and became a lawyer in 2002. Soon after, in 2004, he purchased his first Fairview Park property, the building that still houses his law firm, property management company and several other local businesses. He officially moved to the city in 2005, and later chose to remain in Fairview Park when moving to a larger home in 2013 to accommodate his growing family. In 2014 he became councilman for Ward 5 and has enjoyed his time on City Council, getting to know the residents, the administration, fire, police and service departments and becoming very familiar with the inner workings of our great city. It is this inside knowledge, combined with years of business and real estate experience that he looks to bring to the office of Mayor of Fairview Park.

Angelo lives with his wife, Karlie, and their two children Gianna and Nathan, who are students at St. Angela Merici school. Karlie has been very involved with the Fairview Park Early Childhood PTA and is very active at St. Angela Merici School. She is currently handling Vendor registration for the 2019 Summerfest Committee.
